NEW COMMUNITY
DEFIBRILLATOR
Now available in Covenhope
Another life-saving resource for our community
A new public access defibrillator (AED) has now been installed at Covenhope Farm and is available for use in an emergency, adding to the network of defibrillators across Aymestrey Parish.
The new defibrillator and cabinet were provided through the British Heart Foundation’s Community Defibrillator Funding Programme, following a successful application by Aymestrey Parish Council.
The opportunity was identified by Councillor Jo Stannard, who drafted the application, which was subsequently submitted on behalf of the Parish Council by Parish Clerk Maggie Brown.
