SUMMARY:March Film & Food Night
DESCRIPTION:A relaxed and sociable evening is planned for the local community\, combining good food with a screening of the critically acclaimed film Hundreds of Beavers\, directed by Mike Cheslik in his feature debut. This inventive black-and-white slapstick comedy follows the hapless 19th-century applejack maker Jean Kayak as he becomes embroiled in an absurd\, largely wordless battle with hordes of beavers in a snowy wilderness—a quirky homage to classic physical comedy that has delighted festival audiences for its creativity and humour. \n\n\n\nFull details of the evening can be found at March Film and Food Night. \nWe ask that you let us know in advance if you are coming for food. This helps us plan and ensure there is enough for everyone. People who book food will be given priority. \nEveryone is welcome—whether you’re new to the area or a familiar face\, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening and connect with others in the community.
