SUMMARY:Film and Food Night
DESCRIPTION:A relaxed and sociable evening is planned for the local community\, combining good food with a screening of The Christophers\, a character-driven drama set within London’s art world. The film follows Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen)\, an acclaimed artist who has retreated into a cluttered\, self-imposed seclusion. When his estranged children enlist Lori (Michaela Coel)\, a young painter and sometime forger\, to pose as a prospective assistant\, long-buried family tensions and questions of art\, identity and deception begin to surface. With a strong cast and a blend of drama\, wit and intrigue\, The Christophers offers an engaging and thought-provoking film for an enjoyable evening. \n\n\n \nFull details of the evening can be found at September Film and Food Night. \nEveryone is welcome—whether you’re new to the area or a familiar face\, it’s a great opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening and connect with others in the community.
